David Wilson
Over the course of his career, David has successfully launched and grown his own agency from the ground up and served as a founding partner in one of Florida’s original independent agency networks. That organization went on to become one of the largest and most influential of its kind in the Southeast.
As a consultant, recruiter, and trainer, David has worked with hundreds of insurance professionals—helping both new and experienced agents build profitable, sustainable books of business. He is widely recognized for his deep industry knowledge, hands-on approach, and ability to connect agents with the right markets, systems, and strategies for long-term success.
David has cultivated strong relationships with numerous insurance carriers and industry
leaders throughout his career and takes pride in the trust and partnerships he has built over
the years.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida, where he contributes to advancing and supporting independent agents across the state.
Outside of the industry, David is actively involved in his local church and is a member of one of the country’s largest model helicopter and airplane clubs based in Jacksonville, Florida.

David Wilson is a Florida native with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career as a captive agent with MetLife before quickly transitioning to the independent agency model, where he found his true passion for building and scaling businesses.
